Nespresso: George Clooney and John Malkovich in Milan and possibly in heaven

Nespresso is delighted to confirm that John Malkovich will once again join George Clooney in this year’s TV campaign, having surprised and delighted its TV and online audience by bringing the two together in a dynamic pairing for their on-screen quest for the ultimate coffee experience. Has John Malkovich returned to thank George for the Nespresso machine that he received last year? Or is George back in heaven for further negotiations? Has George’s time finally come? While the storyline of the commercial remains a closely guarded secret, fans can be assured that the humour and charm they have grown to love is still there – but as ever - with a twist. After last year’s stunning storyline twist, Nespresso will not be commenting on plot possibilities, leaving fans to truly savour the new story when it is released. But for those who can’t help but speculate, want to share the camaraderie of the set or are just huge Clooney, Malkovich and Nespresso fans, exclusive backstage footage from the shoot is available as a preview. Adding to the electricity between the stars, fans and locals have been crowding the set, on Milan’s Via Agostino Bertani, in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the filming and, of course, the campaign’s stars. Despite a busy filming schedule, the atmosphere has been relaxed and familial, with Mr. Clooney his usual engaging and delightful self. The full storyline will be revealed in November 2010, when the film, directed by Grant Heslov, will debut in select countries across Europe, the Middle East, South America and Asia as part of a new advertising campaign from Nespresso.
