Communications agency KesselsKramer has created a new website and viral films for its own line of products. Found at dosurf.com, the website is an extension of do’s philosophy of asking consumers to be more active in their consumption. Inspired by the tagline
do, the brand that depends on what you do, the website asks visitors to complete it by modifying typefaces, colours and imagery. In an additional feature, users can upload background pictures to the site in order to create the largest digital wallpaper in the universe. Accompanying the website are five films based on the theme
do demonstrate. Each highlights a different
do product. For instance,
do box is a punch bag which asks you to stuff it with whatever you’d most like to recycle. In the
do demonstrate film we are shown how the bag may be filled with everything from trash to troublesome people.
do sin is a soap which allows you to sin as much as you like. In its supporting film, we see
do sin being used to absolve the most sordid, extreme and strange of acts. Other films include one for war puzzle
do camouflage, an unlikely suggestion for the enormously outsize
do shirt and a warning to us all from
do a plastic bag, an unusual knitting setwhich proposes a long-shot solution to the plague of plastic bags engulfing Planet Earth.
