Story tip: The art of voice acting- The success story of a Seattle based Dutch country specialist, voice actor and business owner.

'When Olav van Zijl (39) moved from the Netherlands to the USA in 2002, he never thought that he’ll be ending up as a successful Dutch voice actor. He worked as a trucker for an organic produce wholesale company, was a wild land fire fighter and attended flight school before completing his first Dutch voice over recording for Citibank at SuperDigital studio in Portland-OR. In the following 18 months his Dutch voice was used in a variety of projects, he was casted for two movies and provided Dutch speech coaching on a number of movie sets. Now almost 2 years later van Zijl runs his own company and works as Dutch/American Country Specialist for Aperian Global.
