AudienceScience, an online advertising technology company driving digital marketing success, announced today plans to acquire Wunderloop, an integrated behavioral targeting company based in Hamburg, Germany. Herewith Wunderloop deliberately chose a partner who does business globally, in a step that has not only warded off the interim insolvency but also puts the company in an even better position than before.

Customers, partners and employers will all benefit from the deal: AudienceScience and Wunderloop now are able to jointly put together effective, international targeting solutions. The merging of Wunderloop and Audience Science’s customer and partner pool creates a huge network and increases reach. The planed takeover also creates a vast knowledge edge. The Hamburg site will remain in place, customers and partners will retain their old contacts, and the business will continue seamlessly.

Wunderloop CEO Torsten Ahlers adds: “AudienceScience is the ideal partner for Wunderloop. At one stroke, we now have the opportunity to export Wunderloop’s successful technology to the US and other markets while also enhancing our range here in Europe with AudienceScience’s great products.”

Wunderloop and the insolvency administrator were advised by Corporate Finance Partners (CFP). The insolvency-related issues were handled by the M&A consulting company Advantum Corporate Finance, led by its managing director Julian Riedlbauer.
