Wat doet jouw bedrijf of organisatie?: Marc van der Aa was born in Hulst (Netherlands) in 1979. He studied at the Utrecht School of Journalism (SVJ) and graduated as a writing journalist in 2004. With a scholarship from the Dutch VSB Foundation, he started studying photography at the Argentine School of Photography (EAF) and History at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He participated in various other courses, such as Photojournalism with Sudaca Photos and Essay Photography with argentine photographer Tony Valdez.

Ideally, he is a traveller, photographer and writer. Marc works in different disciplines, varying from cinema, event coverage and fashion to publicity and essay photography. He worked for different international NGO's and production companies, documenting various projects.

His work has been published in different books, magazines and newspapers in the US and various European and Latin American countries, such as D – magazine, Time Out, Penthouse, Planeta Urbano, Urb Magazine, Las Rosas, Resource Mag, Gonzo Circus, Lonely Planet, Remix, FEM Business, etc.

On an artistic level, Marc put together various solo expositions in the Netherlands and Argentina and participated in a couple of collective expositions.
